I really like Daniel from Amnesia: The Dark Decent. He's 10/10 great. One of my favorite parts about Amnesia is you're working with Daniel's handicap of being absolutely insane. And he makes terrible life choices.

Like drinking an amnesia potion before completing your goals of killing old people.
And also, you know. Killing old people.
...

He also doesn't know what a morgue is.

God I hope A Machine for Pigs has a fun protagonist.

Oh man I loved Amnesia and I loved playing as Daniel. Sometimes he'd ham it up a bit in his notes but I love him for it regardless. XD

Actually, it might make sense that he doesn't know what it is. In England a morgue is called a mortuary, so maybe he got confused with the words since he's from London :o I AM ATTEMPTING TO JUSTIFY BAD DIALOGUE I APOLOGISE

o.o... The game was made in Sweden and Brennenburg is in Prussia (Maybe now, Poland)

But if the English call it a mortuary and Alexander inexplicably also speaks english why would he call it a morgue!? Also, Daniel's voice actor is English, so wouldn't he note it!? Maybe he did. WAI? O.O

(See also: maybe they thought stupid Americans wouldn't know what a mortuary is...And so secretly...We're all as stupid as Daniel...o.o)

LOL yes that too. But the first time I was playing I was think more along the lines of DANIEL GET OFF THE FLOOR DANIEL! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE AND KILL AND OLD MAN OR THIS DRAGON THING IS ONNA EAT US!
